Being a member of the Coast Guard is not exactly a walk in the park. But you wouldn't know that by the nickname they've been given. Coasties is one, but the one I'm talking about is 'puddle pirates.' Which is amazing when you consider the weather entire crews and rescue swimmers brave. Or the fact that they are the first line of defense to interdict drug smugglers. The goal of this campaign was to shift that thinking.
